OUR BEERS
Beer is mostly made of water, making it the most important ingredient. Pure, clean, glacial Mt. Hood water sets Mt. Hood Brewing Co. beers apart from other Oregon ales. Our distinctive ales are produced by the union of that special glacial water, Pacific Northwest barley and hops, and the inspiration of the Mt. Hood Brewing Co.’s brewers.
As you can see by the label designs, our beers are inspired by Mt. Hood in more ways than one. Mt. Hood stands tall in the state of Oregon as a beacon of natural beauty and adventure, from skiing and snowboarding to mountain biking and fly fishing.
Our beers can be enjoyed at the Mt. Hood Brewing Co. brewpub in Government Camp, as well as our satellite locations in Portland and Maupin. You can also find us at Timberline Lodge restaurants and other local eateries and stores. Grab a six-pack and enjoy a Mt. Hood Brewing Co. craft ale after a day of adventure!
This Double IPA was made in collaboration with Timberline Lodge and Ski Area to honor the lodge’s affinity for the classic orange Tucker Sno-Cat. “When we started operating Timberline in 1955 there were very few snow vehicles available,” states Timberline President Jeff Kohnstamm, “The best one was Tucker from Medford, Oregon.” It is with appreciation and nostalgia that Timberline brought a locally built Tucker Sno-Cat back to Timberline in the form of a refurbished 1959 model, seen here on the label.
Mt. Hood Brewing Co.’s Timberline Tucker Double IPA features crystal malt layered with Strata, Chinook, and Mosaic hops. A classic Double IPA with bright and refreshing aromas of grapefruit and pine, this is an assertive yet pleasantly drinkable ale. The iconic Timberline Tucker Sno-Cat is worthy of a big, West Coast Double IPA such as this one.
